Welcome to Jenn Sandercock's game development portfolio
On these pages you will find my personal game development portfolio, including related interests. I am the founder of Inquisiment, an indie studio that creates games fostering friendship, curiosity and challenge.
I was a coder, designer, writer, producer on Thimbleweed Park. I was producer on Return to Monkey Island. I designed, baked, and wrote the Edible Games Cookbook. Buy the Kindle version now!
My edible games are a series of fabulous and delicious food experiences to play with friends and family. Think of it like: tasty treats meet good, old-fashioned fun. Some of them are sweet, others are savoury, and they all have one thing in common — you can eat the pieces! (In fact, it’s required!) I'm putting a dozen of these games into a cookbook that was successfully Kickstarted in July 2018. One of the games, The Order of the Oven Mitt won the Interaction Award at IndieCade 2016.

A travel trivia game filled with the voices of real people from around the world. Alexa is your game host and pilot, transporting you to 20 cities on the world map game board. Introducing you to real locals from each city, all asking questions that are unique and flavourful, from categories including slang and language, food and drink and random and strange.
I worked as a game designer/producer on a prototype of When in Rome as part of the Alexa Accelerator, powered by Techstars in 2017. | ||

In a town like Thimbleweed Park a dead body is the least of your problems. A haunted hotel, an abandoned circus, a burnt-out pillow factory, a dead body pixelating under the bridge, toilets that run on vacuum tubes... you’ve never visited a place like this before. Five people with nothing in common have been drawn to this rundown, forgotten town. They don’t know it yet, but they are all deeply connected. And they’re being watched.
Available now on Windows, Mac, Xbox One, Linux, iOS, Android, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. |

Every month for the year 2013 I posted a new implemented gameplay mechanic. The goal behind this project was to encourage diverse thinking and to practice implementation. Go to the gameplay mechanic a month project page to see all of the mechanics or simply select one of the featured gameplay mechanics shown below. If you'd like to read about the development process and why I did this project, read the Gamasutra article I wrote: Making Games That Give Me Hugs.

Join Lucie in this classic point-and-click adventure game as she explores the sides of good and evil in the small town of Darklight. Created in Adventure Game Studio with the assistance of Saul Alexander, the demo can be downloaded from the Vet Lucie Disastrous home page. |
